Modern technology and the Infotainment Superhighway make it possible for us to teach and learn from a long distance and to know what people in other parts of the world know instantly.  As a matter of fact, African people cross paths with all cultures of the world.  They are constantly in contact with people who come to their vicinity from all over, for religious and/or economic (business) transactions!  This entourage of aliens includes international crooks, conmen, tricksters, smooth liars, religious and secular hypocrites or actors, embezzlers, terrorists, international intelligentsia all shades of mediocrities, good and well informed business, entrepreneurs, religious zealots, saints, holy well intentioned humble Christian missionaries and much more.  African is more exposed to diverse ways of choosing from concerning how to do things, than the average American or European.  Therefore, Africans are not just poor ignorant people.  By the time a missionary arrives in an area, the local people are smart enough to know how they will respond to him or her in order to get the most out the missionary.
